Culture & celebrations
Cultural Day brought traditional dress and food from the families’ home countries; the flag board that day showed the UAE, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines and Somalia. Union Pledge Day on 18 July was marked with kanduras and flags.
Learning through play
Colour sorting at the red table, wooden shape puzzles, and the games on the mats that look like play and quietly practise attention.
Creative work
Paint straight onto the table, paper-square collages, and a face through a torn yellow paper sun.
Discovery
The experiments that everyone crowds around: a volcano, rainbow milk, and the candle jar where the water rises.
Movement
Laughing yoga, dancing games and confetti under an umbrella.
Food days & everyday life
Mango Day, Ice Cream Day, glow-bracelet afternoons, and children eating by themselves at the small tables.
